Products & Services
To maximize its profitability within the limits set by the shareholders, the refinery chooses the crude and decides on the product slates. Prior to distribution to the home market of Kazakhstan and export markets, especially in the Far East, under the brand names of the shareholders, all products are subject to rigorous quality check.
Additionally, llp geoneft too is constantly pursuing integration with Kazakhstani downstream businesses. The refinery is open to new business opportunities, including the selling of intermediate or completed products as feedstock for the petrochemical and allied industries, as well as the acquisition of intermediate process streams from possible suppliers.

Facilities & Manufacturing Capability
A daily capacity of 290,000 barrels of crude oil may be processed at llp geoneft too. A network of computerized control systems is used to supervise manufacturing activities around-the-clock, assuring a smooth and effective operation.
CRUDE DISTILLATION UNITS
The Crude Distillation Units (CDUs), of which our refinery has three, are where the refining process gets started. Crude is distilled into various fractions, each of which has a distinct boiling range, as it enters the atmospheric distillation units. To achieve the stated product quality standards, the resulting fractions are further refined in a variety of units. Vacuum distillation is used to separate vacuum gas oil and vacuum residue from the majority of the atmospheric residue.
CATALYTIC REFORMER COMPLEX
The Catalytic Reformer Complex transforms the low-octane naphtha from CDUs into high-octane reformate for making gasoline.
The Hydrocracker, using the Unicracker Technology, enables the synthesis of intermediate distillate products from heavy fuel oil components that are high quality and low in sulfur. In order to eliminate unwanted impurities, vacuum gas oil and hydrogen are transferred through a hydrotreating reactor. Then, these contaminants are catalytically broken by a process of high temperature and pressure in the presence of catalysts and hydrogen. Some of the unconverted oil at the bottom of the fractionator is recycled back to the hydrocracking reactor to boost conversion before products from the hydrocracking reactor are sent to distillation columns for product separation. Hydrogen’s inclusion in the hydrocracking process yields excellent products with very low sulphur content that don’t need any additional processing. lighter goods like naphtha,
The Visbreaker machine transforms heavy atmospheric and vacuum leftovers thermally into distillates and fuel oil with low viscosity, giving Gaznapfatrans more adaptability to meet shifting market demands.
RESIDUE CATALYTIC CRACKER COMPLEX
Heavy, low-grade residual oils are processed by the Residue Catalytic Cracker (RCC) into a variety of products, including olefinic light ends, gasoline, diesel fuel, and fuel oil components. In this procedure, a fluidized bed of solid catalysts circulates quickly and at extremely high temperatures between a reactor and a two-stage catalyst regenerator. The MTBE Unit and Alkylation Unit get feed from the RCC’s light end olefinic products in order to produce more components for gasoline mixing. While the Alkylation Unit creates Alkylate, the MTBE unit creates MTBE (Methyl-Tertiary-Butyl-Ether), a high octane blending component. Their combined output improves llp geoneft too capabilities and flexibility to create premium goods including high octane motor gasoline and diesel fuel without lead additions to increase efficiency. A new gasoline desulfurization unit was launched in 2017.
COGENERATION POWER PLANT
The Power Plant Facilities, which were put into service in 2017, may burn natural gas to produce electricity and high pressure steam for usage by llp geoneft too. By utilizing clean energy, the power plant considerably increases energy efficiency and lowers greenhouse gas emissions.
With more than 70 tanks for storage of crude, blending ingredients, and finished goods, llp geoneft too has a large storage capacity.
BERTHS FOR LOADING TO SHIPS
In addition to seven docks for loading and unloading crude and refined petroleum products, our refinery complex provides substantial berthing facilities. With a maximum overall length of 355 meters and a loaded depth of 21 meters, the berths can hold ships weighing up to 387,000 deadweight.
